I liked this enough that I'll be sure to keep an eye out for what all this author releases in the future. The details about the land and beekeeping were lovely, and I enjoyed the heartwarming relationship between Marigold and her grandmother, Althea. It's intersting that most of the platonic relationships were written beautifully, while the romance felt jaded and inauthentic.

This was solidly average with some bursts of good and some moments that made me question what in the world was happening. But man, do I crave a slower, simpler life after spending some time on Innisfree with Marigold! I might have to make some lifestyle alterations soon ...
