Soft Butter Rolls! These rosette shaped soft, golden rolls are bursting with rich, buttery flavor – perfect for breakfast, dinner, or a special treat anytime.

Makes 25
Ingredients needed:
Flour - 500
Water - 230
Salt - 10
Egg - 50
Sugar - 30
Unsalted Butter - 40
Dry milk - 25
Yeast - 10

1) Add all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.

2) Add the egg and water. Keep mixing until a dough is formed.

3) Lightly flour your workspace and knead until a smooth dough is formed. Leave in a oil up bowl to proof for 1 hour or double in size.

4) Divide the dough into 24 pieces. From the 24 pieces, divide them into half. Roll the 2 halves into a 26cm rope with similar length, and place 1 dough onto another to form an X.

5) From the top of the dough, take the bottom dough and cross it upwards, braid it until its finished, do not taper the dough. Repeat for the bottom part.

6) Take the smallest end of the dough and slowly fold it into the center.

7) Leave it to proof until its double in size, and brush with room temperature melted butter.

8) Bake for 210C for 12 minutes. Once they are baked, brush again with melted butter while the buns are still hot. Leave on a cooling rack once its done.
