it’s highly unlikely your opponent is going to just stand in one place while you attack, whether they move backwards or to the sides, it’s important to be able to move while attacking, which requires a bit of articulation and balance.

This is the next step to becoming a competent striker.

Why is this important?

• Initially taught the importance of momentum using a single strike
• How to throw combination or move if opponent moves back?
• Walk forward with your attacks
•The Importance and how to propel momentum

This tutorial will cover Intermediate footwork concepts such as:

•Learn how to coordinate hands and feet together
(Left to Left / Right to Right)

•Controlling the upper body to never pass hipline

(Why is this important?)
•Head and chin tends to move forward
•Bring your weapon to target - NOT target to your opponent.

Perform this forward walking drill with straight punches for a full 3-minute round.
