Travis County DA Garza wins primary by landslide

On Super Tuesday, incumbent Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza won the Democratic primary by a two-to-one margin against challenger Jeremy Sylestine, despite $1.2 million spent by independent anti-Garza forces, putting Garza in a strong position to win a second term in the November general election.
