Millering in the dark ! Why do it ? Well, the reasons that I can think of include: (i) getting a run in before work, (ii) the light conditions can be magnificent in the early morning (not on this run as it was overcast) and (iii) in this case the forecast, that did not materialise, was for a westerly swing (the widow maker) after 9.00am

*Twilight definitions;
1. Astronomical Twilight: When sun is between 12 and 18 degrees below the sunrise. From 90-120 minutes before sunrise
2. Nautical Sunlight: When sun is between 6 and 12 degrees below the horizon. From 60-90 minutes before sunrise
3. Civil Twilight: When sun is between 0 and 6 degrees below the horizon. From 30-60 minutes before sunrise.
