Welcome to Norfolk, Virginia!

As you saw last week, we made it to Norfolk in time to attend the America's Great Loop Cruisers' Association Spring Rendezvous. This capped off a [mostly] pleasant* thousand mile journey that began in Stuart, Florida some six months earlier.

Sailor was particularly happy with our Waterside Marina location because it gave her multiple opportunities every day to stretch her legs. She was born to run fast.

Oh, and here's a big shout out to the crew at Waterside Marina (https://watersidemarina.com/) for their attentive service, for their hospitality, for their well-kept facility, for their help while docking during windy conditions, and for the way they managed all the boats that packed the docks during the rendezvous. The marina is situated right at the vibrant Waterside District in the heart of downtown Norfolk, where there are many choices for dining and entertainment. We're happy to recommend Waterside Marina to all boaters.
