Vivaro valve cover gasket replacement & messing it up!

When we changed Vinnies clutch and gearbox we notice oil all down the back of the engine. Most of it seemed to be coming from the valve cover gasket. The breather/filler was also covered in oil so we had a look at that too.

We decided to replace it and here's how we did it. It didn't all go to plan by the way.
