This video shows you how to calculate the diurnal and seasonal cycle of gridded data stored in netCDF or GRIB formats, with output at hourly, daily or monthly time resolution.

This is the main method with which you can calculate these cycles, but in a subsequent video I will show you how to do this using an alternative method based on ensemble functions, which is more flexible but not as straightforward.
