How to: "Stop The Bleed" - An overview of the full course

This is an overview of the "Stop the Bleed" course. Here we briefly address the steps you should take to address life-threatening bleeding.

The "Stop the Bleed" course uses a simple memory aid to follow: ABC
A-Activate 911
B-Bleeding (Identify)
C-Compression

Compression of arteries can be accomplished a few different ways:
-Apply direct pressure to the area of bleeding with a gloved hand
-Apply a tourniquet to severe bleeding on extremities
-Wound pack junctional areas where you can't get a tourniquet
-On the core, you can apply a chest seal to treat a potential collapsed lung
