EC says it has no evidence NUP cheated NRM

The Electoral Commission says there is no evidence that the president recently alluded to, indicating that the National Unity Platform Party stole one million votes, during the 2021, presidential polls. The call came during a dialogue organized by Civil Society Organisations on how to prevent conflict before, during and after elections. Here, different stakeholders call for autonomous and independent institutions like the electoral commission, the security agencies, and others, so as to have a free and fair election.
