Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo has ruled out any expectations that the judiciary will issue public statements of protest against rights violation. Owiny-Dollo says it will be petty and populist for a judicial officer to issue statements to show dissatisfaction with the wrongs committed by the state. As JACKSON ONYANGO reports, the Chief Justice rebuked the agitators of such conduct by the judiciary for either being ignorant or dishonest.
