Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River. It is situated at an altitude of 3,293 metres (10,804 ft) and located ~30 kilometers from Uttarkashi(Uttarakhand, India).
It is one of the four sites in Chhota Char Dham pilgrimage.
The main attraction at Yamunotri is the temple(built by Maharani Guleria of Jaipur) devoted to the Goddess Yamuna at Janki Chatti reached by trekking 7 km's.
