About 'Polite Society'
'Polite Society' is a response to overwhelming societal strife in the wake of pervasive racial injustice in North America at the height of the Coronavirus pandemic.

With the grim understanding that the lyrics would be timely no matter when they were listened to, frontwoman Hurricane G composed each line with the plight of the Black American and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in mind and heart.
