Ever since smoking my first Altinay Block Meerschaum Pipe, I come to appreciate & enjoy the cool & precise smoking experience with Meer pipe, beside the elegance & clean lines of a meer pipe also the many benefits of a meerschaum pipe that I discussed in length in my “All About Meerschaum” video. In today’s video I will show you my 4th Meerschaum pipe I purchased & how It all came to be.

Star Block Meerschaum Pipes: Star Meerschaum pipes are carved out of premium grade block meerschaum which have been sourced from Sarisu in Eskisehir which is considered to be the finest meerschaum mine in Turkey. The miners only select the very best meerschaum blocks among the hundreds mined from under 100m below the surface. These then undergo further scrutiny by the master carvers to ensure that only the very best of the best blocks go into making the final product. This ensures that each pipe has the smoking characteristics that can only come from such a high-quality block meerschaum pipe.
