രുചികരമായ ചിക്കൻ മപ്പാസ് | Easy Kerala Chicken Mappas With Coconut Milk | Malayalam Recipes | Kozhi Mappas In Malayalam

Chicken Mappas is a typical kerala dish, with thick and creamy coconut milk. One of the other main ingredients is coriander powder and what makes it distinct from the usual chicken curry is the fact that there is no chili powder in this. It tastes great with appam.

Ingredients

500gms chicken
salt
1/2tsp turmeric powder
1/2tsp pepper powder
1/2tsp garam masala
1 1/2tbsp coconut oil
1 bay leaf
2 cinnamon sticks
2 mace
1 star
2 clove
2 cardamom
2clove
1tsp fennel seeds
2 onion
1sp ginger
1 tsp garlic
4 green chilli
1 tomato
1tsp pepper powder
1tbsp coriander powder
1tsp gram masala
1 cup thin coconut milk
1tbsp cashewnuts
1tsp vinegar
1 cup thick coconut milk

For Tempering
little coconut oil
some shallots
2 green chillies
curry leaves.
1tsp crushed fennel seeds
1/4tsp pepper powder
1/4tsp garam masala
