Welcome to this guided yoga nidra for better sleep. This calming yogic sleep practice was created to help you easily and quickly drift off into a deep and restful sleep.

During this female voice-guided yoga nidra by Loren Runion, you will experience hearing light nature sounds as background music. The voice guidance lasts for 36 minutes followed by 9 minutes of nature sounds only as you rest in the state of yoga nidra, or drift off to sleep.

Sometimes it can be hard to turn off the mind and slip into relaxation when we lay down for sleep.

This meditation aids in better sleep by helping effortlessly enter into the hypnagogic state (the space between being awake and just drifting off to sleep) and then down into a deep state of sleep. Enjoy this relaxing nidra for peace and relaxation you fall effortlessly into a deep and restful sleep.

The intentional language used in this meditation is designed to speak directly to your subconscious mind, telling it exactly what it should be doing such as relaxing deeper and resting deeply.

💤 Helpful tips before you practice this yoga nidra:
✔️You will need to be in a comfortable position. Traditionally yoga nidra is practiced lying down in savasana, but if that isn’t available to you just find a position that feels good and safe for your body. Focus on feeling supported. This could be in a side-lying position or inclined position where the head is above the heart.
✔️Have props to support your body like bed or couch pillows, a blanket, and possibly an eye covering to block out light.
✔️Affirm to yourself before starting that rest is your birthright and not something you need to earn.
