What's New with Heat Pumps

As air-source heat pumps continue to proliferate, new technologies are emerging regularly. Engineer (and This Old House celebrity) Ross Trethewey and experienced product rep Dave Hazel join us to talk about three of the biggest recent updates: Air-to-Water systems, Mono-Block systems and new refrigerants.

He is a professional engineer in various states and earned both bachelor and master of science degrees in mechanical engineering from Tufts University. Dave Hazel is the Northeast Sr. Manager for Business Development at LG Air Conditioning with over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry specializing in High Performance Heat Pump applications and design. He educates and develops new construction builders, architects, developers, remodelers, weatherization firms and HVAC installation contractors along with the Passive House and building science communities.
