21 December 2021: Ford Australia has officially announced pricing and specification details for the 2022 Ford Fiesta ST, confirming the information exclusively published by Drive last week. Our original story continues below.

15 December 2021: Pricing and specifications for the facelifted 2022 Ford Fiesta ST have leaked ahead of Australian showroom arrivals due in the first three months of next year.

Confidential information shared with Ford dealers shows that while the hot hatch gains a digital instrument cluster, matrix LED headlights and a bump in engine torque, the facelifted Ford Fiesta ST will lack some safety features – and, oddly, AM radio has been deleted.

A confidential Ford Australia dealer bulletin has confirmed the updated Fiesta ST will be priced from $33,490 before on-road costs – an increase of $1200 over the most recent pricing for the outgoing model ($32,290).

The revised price of the Ford Fiesta ST remains on par with its newest rival, the Hyundai i20 N manual ($32,490 before on-road costs), and the Volkswagen Polo GTI auto ($32,890 before on-road costs) – both of which also have widescreen digital instrument displays.
