How to Use Gauge with Ribbed Fabrics // Technique Tuesday

Ribbed stitch patterns have special qualities that other stitch patterns don't have, namely their ability to stretch as much as plain stockinette, while also contracting to a narrower resting state. This video explains how to determine the number of ribbed stitches needed for a project based on the purpose of the ribbing and whether it is used in combination with other stitch patterns.
