Level 6 (Second Quest) Complete Walkthrough - The Legend of Zelda Second Quest 100% Walkthrough

This video shows how to beat Level 6 in the Second Quest as well as how to get everything in this Level. To see how to beat this Level while only getting the necessities, there is a video linked below that shows how. As with all dungeons in this game it's not a bad idea to have a potion on hand. Furthermore, if you have not already done so, I recommend that you get the Magical Sword & the Blue Ring. You can find videos showing the locations to these upgrades as well as the locations of all Magical Shield, Bomb, & Potion Shops linked down below.

You'll need 1 Small Key at the start as the only Small Keys in this Level can only be gotten after getting the Stepladder which itself is behind a locked door. If you do not already have a Small Key you can see where to buy one in the video linked below.

Gohma is in here so make sure you have Rupees to expend on arrows.

When you get to top room with Wizzrobes (3:34) it's okay to use some bombs to try to kill them as they drop bombs upon them all being defeated. Bomb damage to Wizzrobe is equal to 1 hit of the Magical Sword.

Lastly, there is a Manhandla near the end of the level, but defeating it doesn't drop anything (although it does allow you to push a block to escape that room). As such there isn't really a point in trying to fight it.

Important things in this level:
Stepladder: (1:11): in the room with 6 Blade Traps, push the leftmost block to reveal a staircase. Go down it to get the Stepladder.

Map (2:31): In the room with the Blade Traps & Like Likes, kill all of the Like Likes to get the Map.

Compass (3:08): There is a room with Wizzrobes & Blue/Red Bubbles with a vertical row of lava extending across the screen. Bomb the right wall & go through to find the Compass.

Mini-Boss - Gleeok (4:31): Defeat Gleeok with your usual strategy.

Boss - Gohma (5:10): Gohma can only be injured by shooting its eye with an Arrow & only when it's eye isn't closed. It takes 3 successful hits to kill it.
