Cumbrian Harvest 2024. Could it be 1985? 40-yr-old MF 825 and Ford 4610 harvest winter barley.

My first cereal harvest filming of 2024 and a really lovely outfit to kick off the season. Although a bit of a cloudy day this lovely and certainly rare in Cumbria MF 625 that would have been new in 1985 definitely brightened up the day.
Now 40 years old it was on making a great job of harvesting the winter barley crop with its new owner. Collecting the grain was a Ford 4610 from the same year with a period style trailer and vintage grain tank leading me to think this would have been the type of outfit that would have been on the go four decades ago. A trip down memory lane for me and a great way to start this years harvest season.
