Grape, Cherry, and Orange KoolAid. 300 g of 80/20 Superwash Merino/Nylon sock yarn from Dyer Supplier
Presoak the yarn for 30+ min in plain tap water
[3:12] Dyeing the tonal yarn
Dissolve 1 packet of Orange koolaid in 8 cups of water (cool). Add 100 g of presoaked yarn to the cool dye bath. Heat up for 30+ min or until the colors have absorbed.
[6:29] Dyeing the speckled yarn
Using Grape and Cherry KoolAid. Speckle on with fingertips. Wrap up to microwave the yarn in 2 min increments for a total of 4-6 minutes or when the yarn is hot to touch. (Alternatively, steam on the stove for 30 minutes.)
