Aristotle, De Anima: Matter and Form (pt 2)

In Aristotle's famous work On the Soul (Latin: De Anima), he describes what the soul is, and its functions. In this video we look at how emotions seem to have two aspects - a bodily aspect and a mental aspect, and these go hand-in-hand. This brings us to Aristotle's view that for individual living thing (a substance), the soul and the body are necessary, just as any individual is the union of matter and form.
