Freight Trains GALORE at Hamburg-Harburg | 7th September 2023

I dedicated the whole day on the 7th of September to staying at Hamburg-Harburg station, I've never been to Hamburg before and I'm sure there's many great things to do in the city but I'd rather spend 9 hours stood here thanks! This really does deserve to be one of the longest videos I've ever published, I started getting dehydrated because whenever I started to pack up to go to a shop to get a drink something else would come, it's non-stop here! Even the local passenger trains are loco hauled, I only filmed a few of them because I didn't want them filling my memory card. Loads of interesting stuff passes, most of it down to the nearby humongous Maschen Yard which is 2.5 miles long and 2000ft wide and handles thousands and thousands of wagons per day re-marshalling trains before heading through Harburg and down to the docks. Honestly if you're looking at going to Germany for the trains and are most interested in freight, this place is a must visit! I hope you enjoy the video and feel free to comment down below!
