I explained four types of lumbar HNP or stenosis. It will ease you to understand the type of lesion and select the procedure type in case of lumbar radicular pain.
In the clinical case, I will provide the second step to compensate for the improper nerve root injection. In foraminal stenosis, an ipsilateral facet joint is preferred, and in case of subarticular stenosis, I recommend an ipsilateral interlaminar injection.
