Bogus Basin: Bitterroot (1973-2024)

Installed in 1973 as the anchor of an expansion project, this Riblet double serves a wide variety of Blue intermediate terrain and is hotspot on powder days. Racers train here a lot, and the groomed runs are excellent cruisers. The lift itself is a very standard 60’s/70’s Riblet double with a counterweight tensioned bottom return and a fixed top vault drive, the chairs originally were the early style bail chairs opposed to center poles, these were replaced with newer bail chairs sometime in the 90’s.
The lift is very useful and I do not see it going anywhere for awhile but it could use an upgrade.
