Balatonboglár is one of the bigger cities along the shores of Lake Balaton, it is situated on the southern part of the Hungarian Sea. Bathing in the water is free here, no admission fees (as opposed to the Northern shores). Ideal for families with little children as it deepens very slowly, even 300 meters into the water it is still just waist-deep. You can rent a paddle boat, or try sup. If hungry you can choose from the food assortment available in the water-front buffets, langos is a permanent choice. Balatonboglár is really popular with kids since there are many playgrounds here. Also, if you want to take some souvenirs with you to have something to remember your journey by, you can buy fridge magnets, artisan products at the stands.
