Being located above the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten Islands have an extreme climate where weather changes with the blink of an eye. “Lofoten is the most beautiful place I have ever been to and running the entire length of Lofoten, through day and night, was the best way to see it all,” says athlete ‪@anna.simone.s‬. To run there is to be as vulnerable as the Islands themselves, but to Anna, ultrarunning is a way of reconnecting with herself and a way to experience nature without leaving a trace.
