Amazing views and mighty and wild nature at the far end of Flekkefjords and Vest-Agder’s southwest corner towards Rogaland and the North Sea. From the tranquility of the river Åna-Sira you can reach a mountain top right by the the ocean and North Sea overlooking Listalandet and Hidra.
There are several trails leading to Brufjellhålene, with medium and demanding difficulty. This is marked with blue and red grading on the signs. The last trail down to Brufjell is advanced (black) trail. And the last part, very steep.

The hightes point at Brufjell is 184 meters above sea level. Here you have an amazing view over the North Sea and Lista landscape. On a clear day, you will manage to see the lighthouse at Lista. Liste is known for its abundance of rare birds.

Brufjell potholes was created during the ica age, some 20.000 years ago. Back then, the sea level was higher.

Fun fact; Did you know that for some million years ago, the mountains in the Southwest Norway were taller than the Mt. Everest is today? Brufjell is also part of Magma Geopark and UNESCO.
