On my recent visit to Britannia Arms, I had the pleasure of speaking with restaurant owner, Michael North. Michael has been in the restaurant industry for thirty years. He initially owned a restaurant near Britannia Arms. As a long time Britannia Arms customer, Michael became an employee, followed by becoming owner.

While speaking with Michael, I asked what is favorite drink is. He said he likes to cool off with an 805 beer on a hot day. Other days, Michael likes a Jim Beam bourbon. When you go to Britannia Arms, you’ll definitely have to try the Fish and Chips, which is also the house specialty. When ordering the Fish and Chips, you can choose between cod or haddock. The fish is dipped in their own special batter. It’s deep fried to a golden brown and served with British style fries or coleslaw. Britannia Arms serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
