Breaking Down the Defensive Stunt

Описание к видео Breaking Down the Defensive Stunt

A focal point of every offense is to try and score in the paint. One of the easiest ways to do that is to drive to the basket. On defense, one of the best ways to keep your opponent out of the paint is to stunt.

In this video, we talk about the two primary situations that stunting is necessary to play good team defense. We break down the technique that's required, and show several examples of when it's necessary, and the results when it's not done.

The two situations we look at are;
1. When someone drives into a gap to get to the basket
2. When dribble penetration has forced help, and the defense is in a scramble situation.
