$1 Third Class Train Into Thailand's Deep South 🇹🇭

We set off on a $1 local train journey to Pattani in Thailand's 'Dangerous' deep south.

When you mention the far Southern states of Thailand people usually recommend you to stay far away from them due to the insurgency over the past few years, we fancied visiting ourself to see what things are like down there.

From Phatthalung we traveled to Pattani train station on the third class train for only 33 thai baht.

Forget the 1st class VIP sleeper train to Chiang Mai videos this is how you should travel in Thailand.

When we arrived to Pattani train station we easily jumped straight into a songthaew for 40 thai baht each that took us the 30 minutes drive to Pattani city centre.

We then checked into the Paradise Hotel in Pattani for 480 thai baht a night, not the best but not the worst by any means.
