I tried to figure out how to make a hyperpop beat sound pretty. This is my process of making a hyperpop beat in the style of a. g. cook. I hope you like it!

back again with another video in this series where I make hyperpop beats mixed with different styles. I figured it was about time that I tried making an AG Cook type beat. I used the songs 2021 and Show Me What as reference songs and I tried to replicate some of the vocal effects that make those songs stand out. This one was a bit tough as I wasn't all that happy with how the beat ended up at the end of the video. I feel like you can get 80% of a song written in that first couple of hours but the more I listened to it when I was making this video, the more I wanted to keep working on it and change it up. That's why the end beat sounds a little different. It's tough making something sound simple and good at the same time.
