Bunker Mission Across the Isle of Sheppey

Описание к видео Bunker Mission Across the Isle of Sheppey

In this vlog we venture all over the Isle of Sheppey, taking a look at everything from pillboxes scattered across the east of the island, to the lost structures of Sheerness docks and its impressive defences in the west.

We explore a naval decoy bunker in the isolated area of Harty Ferry before moving onto a minefield control bunker at the Swale National Nature Reserve at Shellness. We then proceed to Warden Point to see its pillboxes which fell from the cliffs, coming across several historic sights on the way. The final part takes place in Sheerness where we rumble an illegal operation in one of the most squalid places we've been - a Victorian water tower fallen from grace. The rest of the video explores Sheerness' old dock buildings and huge defences, including Number One Bastion - a WWII battery.

Filmed with the Nikon Z50 with Nikon Z 16-50mm & 50-250mm lenses and a Sigma 8-16mm.
