My new Ampeg Venture V3 came in a few days ago. These have only been out a few weeks and I'm not really seeing any un-sponsored reviews, real-world sound samples, etc. yet - so I thought I'd throw this together quickly for anyone curious.

Short story is that it isn't perfect but it's a keeper for me! Yes, I used a P-bass with flats as that's what I've been playing the most lately.
