Found the roll over valve or purge valve on the fuel tank on my Jeep Wrangler TJ was cracked off which had been causing the check engine light. The leak had been present since I purchased the Jeep but the only fix up until now was replacing the entire fuel tank assembly which is not obsolete from Mopar.
