Pretibial Myxedema vs Scleredema vs Scleromyxedema - Dermatopathology "Sound-Alikes"

Описание к видео Pretibial Myxedema vs Scleredema vs Scleromyxedema - Dermatopathology "Sound-Alikes"

These three myxoid/mucinous skin diseases are often confused with one another because they have similar sounding names (they are "sound-alikes" more than look-alikes). Here's how to tell them apart. This video is part of a Zoom video lecture I presented jointly to the dermatology and pathology residents at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Geisinger Medical Center on April 10, 2020.

A complete organized library of all my videos, digital slides, pics, & sample pathology reports is available here: https://kikoxp.com/posts/5084 (dermpath) & https://kikoxp.com/posts/5083 (bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathology).
