Copland Pass... A fantastic crossing that doesn't get attempted too often these days based on the sparse Copland Shelter logbook entries...

From January 21st to January 24th 2014 Richard, Brad, Mick and myself (Jayd) hiked from the east to west, from the Aoraki/Mt Cook National park across to the West Coast highway near Fox Glacier.

It was an awesome trip full of stunning scenery, funny mates, gnarly terrain and some sweeeeeet hot pools towards the end of the trip.

Thank you Richard for organising such a great trip. We are now left with lasting memories and a greater sense of mateship and shared adventure.
