Did TMNT: The Last Ronin live up to the hype?

In 2020 the first issue of IDW's TMNT: The Last Ronin was released. A story thought up by Eastman & Laird back int he 80's finally realised. A world where only one of the Ninja Turtles is left standing, with a mission to avenge the loss of his family. But the five issues took nearly two years to be released. And after the hype of wondering who the last ronin is has faded away, how does this story hold up?
