जब प्रभुको आत्मा र उहाँको अभिषेक हामीमा वास गर्नुहुन्छ हामी शक्तिशाली बन्छौं। उनलाई परमेश्वरको आत्माले अभिषेक गर्नुभन्दा दाऊद एक साधारण गोठालो थिए, तर पछि उनी एक शक्तिशाली योद्धा र राजा बने। आज, हामीले येशू ख्रीष्टलाई आफ्नो प्रभु र मुक्तिदाताको रूपमा ग्रहण गरिसकेपछि त्यहि पवित्र आत्मा हामी भित्र र हामीसँग वास गर्नुहुन्छ। तर धेरैजसो विश्वासीहरू, नियमित मण्डली जानेहरू भएर पनि शैतानको दमन र पापमय जीवन शैलीमा जिईरहेका हुन्छन्। यसको पछाडिको कारण हो: उनीहरूले परमेश्वरको आत्मालाई आफ्नो जीवनमा काम गर्न अनुमति नदिनु। परमेश्वरको आत्माले हाम्रो जीवनलाई परिवर्तन मात्र गर्नुहुन्न, तर हामीले उहाँलाई पछ्याउने छनौट गर्दा हामीले पहिले कहिल्यै अनुभव नगरेका कठिनाइहरु पनि सामना गर्छौं। यद्यपि, हामी परमेश्वरको वचन र उहाँका प्रतिज्ञाहरूमा दृढ रहनुपर्छ। यसरी नै, हामीले परमेश्वरबाटको शक्ति प्राप्त गर्दछौँ।

We become powerful when the Spirit of the Lord and His anointing is dwelling in us. David was a common shepherd, before He was anointed with the Spirit of God whereafter He became a powerful warrior and a king. Today, we have the same Spirit of God in us and with us, after we've accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. But most of the believers, even after being regular church goers still live in demonic oppression and sinful lifestyle. The reason behind this is: they don't allow the Spirit of God to work in their lives. Not only does the Spirit of God transforms our life, but we also encounter troubles like we've never experienced before when we choose to follow Him. However, we should stand firm in the Word of God and His promises. Through this, we can draw from the strength of God Himself.
