Here are three different CBG necks created from re-use plywood, Lowes and Home Depot paint sticks and regular construction 1x2's. Start off by gluing and clamping and allowing to set. Next, hand file and sand to desired thickness and taper. Finally notch for the box top with carved out channel allowing for "space/gap" between neck wood and cigar box top. (note: to create the back angle be sure to remove about 3/16ths more material on the bridge side where the neck meets the cigar box top)
