Time to Wake Up always feels like one of the highest peaks of our set. Sandwiched in between “Let it Rain” and “Permanent Holiday” it’s like the body of the final act of our show. When we get to the “come out of the shadows, step into the light” section it feels like we’ve been on this journey together and we’re ready to expose the darkness we’ve been holding onto and release it. When the whole band drops out to just the kick drum it feels like we’re cracking the foundations of the system of illusion we’ve been living in. The groove and feel of this song really evolved so much live and I feel like it represents the intention of the song so much more than the studio version in many ways. This is the last single we will release before the full album drops on 8/28/20!!! Enjoy
