"The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam" (1934) is one of the most important works of Dr Sir Muhammad Iqbal (also called Allama Iqbal). In this Zoom lecture, the three-times recipient of Presidential Iqbal Award, Khurram Ali Shafique, offers a simple introduction to the book. The lecture is suitable even for those who do not have any previous knowledge of the subject.

This is a summary of a workshop that was originally conducted at Dabistan-e-Iqbal, Lahore, in January 2023, in association with the 125th Anniversary celebrations of Allied Marketing Pvt Ltd Pakistan, organized by Ms Kanwal Zubair.
