Collage with botanical theme No 33

This is the 33 collage in a series with a botanical theme. I will be using different techniques such as gelli printing and stitching. All papers are my own prints. How many I will make, I don’t know yet.
You can achieve great results using alcohol inks on the gelli plate, but be prepared of discolouration of your plate. There are probably many way to do this. I found that rolling a small drop of hand sanitiser on my plate, before I drip the alcohol ink on, makes it flows better. I haven’t had grate results using alcohol lifting ink. I just use ordinary white acrylic. The focal point is a real dry maple leaf. To glues and seal it, I use soft matte gel. At last stitching with dark green mercerised cotton thread.
