Seton Hall University welcomes back Dr. Debbie Joffe Ellis in a three-part virtual series exploring the passionate and compassionate approach of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.

Dr. Joffe Ellis is a psychologist, mental health counselor and professor at Columbia University. She has championed the work of her late husband, the esteemed Dr. Albert Ellis, who pioneered Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in 1955. REBT has provided the foundation of modern cognitive therapies, using an action-oriented approach to manage cognitive, emotional and behavioral disturbances. Since his passing in 2007, Joffe Ellis has dedicated much of her work to promoting and sharing REBT worldwide. She is the co-author, with Albert Ellis, of "Rational Emotive Therapy: Second Edition," published by the American Psychological Association.
