Formed in 1954 by shortline railroad icon Samuel Pinsly, the Claremont and Concord Railway was a shortline railroad operating in New Hampshire. The C&C operated portions of the ex-B&M Claremont Branch and also an extensive system of street-running and industrial tracks throughout Claremont. Sold in 1988 and renamed the Claremont-Concord Railroad, in July 1990 the railroad operated its last railfan trip on its remaining city trackage from Claremont Junction to Allen Street in Claremont. Russell F. Munroe, Jr. attended and recorded the events for posterity.
