Natriuretic hormones counterbalance the action of aldosterone and ADH and its regulation, action and physiology is very important to understand the homeostasis of blood pressure. Insulin to have certain impact on regulation of blood pressure regulation. In this video, the attempt was made to precisely explain how natriuretic hormones and hyperinsulinemia affect the blood pressure. Natriuretic hormones and hyperinsulinemia along with RAAS system is a part of humoral regulatory mechanism and such humoral abnormalities may be involved in the development of essential hypertension.
