Time to make pre-history! Our trio travel way back to 65,000,000 B.C. in search of the elusive dreamstone; the only material that might repair the Masamune. In their search they meet the vivacious Ayla, chief of the nearby Ioka village, whom is more than willing to give them the rock they seek. Provided, of course, they join her in a grand celebration!

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.

The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
