Normanby Hall has opened up this year with several exhibitions all surrounding the life and times of George Stubbs, the famous horse painter.
Stubbs had his workshop in the Scunthorpe region and so the museum has many items linked to the artist. It is also an anniversary of the artist and his work.
As part of that theme, the costume department has selected the costumes of the Rev. John Parkinson to go on display, showing fashions from Stubb's time.
As we (HandBound Costumes) happened to have been studying the costume collection as part of the prep for book 2, the exhibition also includes some of our research and some of the things we've learnt about the collection.

In this video we answer questions about the collection as a whole. and some of the key details from studying the collection of clothing from one man. This video was also created as promotion for the exhibition and our research.
