A few decades ago I was down at this record store in Hollywood, California called Amoeba Music.

I’d spend hours in the listening rooms and thumbing through records.

One day I stumbled upon this bundle of Eric Clapton’s Unplugged concert.

It was both a DVD and a CD.

I bought it and listened to it every day.

I learned every song on it…

And then one day I discovered something…

The 2nd track on the album wasn’t actually written by Clapton.

In fact, many of the songs on the album aren’t written by Eric.

They were written by legendary blues artists…

Finally, I figured out this 2nd cut was written by Bo Diddley…

It’s a classic blues in E, and a great one to learn for guitar players…

Now whenever I hear this song I think back to those good ole’ days…

I think about driving home on the 101 freeway from Amoeba music.

And listening to all the treasures I scored…

Today I want to share with you the ultimate lesson on this song…

I’ve been putting together many tutorials of all the covers there are of it…

Including the original by Bo Diddley, Clapton’s version, and today I’ve just added a brand new one by CCR.
